【FOREWORD】
2007 China (Wuhan) Education Exhibition with support from Wuhan study
abroad intermediary association, sponsored by Jinmao Study Abroad and
Chuancheng was opened on June 28, 2007, the same day for the 20th NMET
Consultancy Meeting. About 50,000 visitors came for advice on the first
and 20,000 the next day and about 500 students came for the Face-to-face
Meeting between Foreign Schools and Chinese Students and Parents held
on the third day. Exhibitors come from UK, France, Australia, US, Italy,
Ireland, Netherlands, Denmark, South Korea, Japan, Canada, Cyprus, Singapore,
Malaysia, New Zealand, Switzerland, China, Hong Kong and many other countries
and regions. Among the 90+ exhibitors 11 registered with the Ministry
of Education come from Hubei. Admission representatives from foreign schools
and study abroad experts answered questions from students and their parents
in the face-to-face communications, providing authoritative information
and timely service and meaningful information for future Sino-foreign
education cooperation. China CITIC Bank and China Everbright Bank as designated
service bank for the conference and educational officials from British
Council, Instituto Italiano di Cultura, NUFFIC and Australia IDP were
invited to provide site consultancy for those who have the plan for study
abroad, affirming the success of the exhibition and expressing their intention
to persuade some frequent exhibitors to international education exhibit
to come for the 2008 Wuhan Exhibit next.
Before the exhibition Wuhan Evening, Wuhan Morning, Chutian Metropous
Daily, Chutian Golden Daily, Changjiang Daily and Changjiang Times reported
and advertised the exhibit and during the exhibition Changjiang Daily
made a special analysis on the study abroad this year and interviewed
with educational officials of British Council, Instituto Italiano di Cultura
and Australia IDP and representatives from 6 schools.
Wuhan, capital of Hubei province, is the largest city in Central China
and also is the center for economic, technological and cultural exchanges
in Central China. Here gather more than 60 universities and colleges with
over 600,000 in-campus students, such variety of schools have got Wuhan
crowned as education center in Central China, and moreover, Wuhan always
takes the leading role of economic development in Central China. As a
result, every year Wuhan is an important area for students’ recruitment
of universities and colleges at home and abroad.
We learn from Foreign Cooperation and Exchange Office of Hubei Province
Education Department: according to the statistics, in 2003 those who study
abroad at their own costs in Hubei Province totaled 4,069, 3,000 in 2004,
5,856 in 2005, 2,744 in the first half of 2006, and it is predicted that
there will be a continuous increase in the next years. Following countries
are those which receive most self-funded students from Hubei: Australia,
UK, France, Singapore, US, Canada, Germany, Japan, Ukraine, South Korea.
As required by exhibitors, we have made a close schedule on the address
and time to ensure an expected exhibition; this international education
exposition will be held together with 2008’ University Recruitment Consultation
Conference (Wuhan) of China, (over 300 universities from Mainland China,
Hong Kong and Macao participated in and 50 thousand parents and students
attended 2007 Recruitment Consultation Conference), the holding date of
which is the right time for publishing of CEE score and the right opportunity
for students to select schools. More detailed and latest school and recruitment
information will be given to graduates, on-campus students and parents.

Wuhan International Conference and Exhibition Center covers a construction
area of 127 thousand m2, and includes 10 exhibition halls totaling 50
thousand m2, which can hold 2800 international standard booths, and 15

【INVITATION OF VISITOR】
A．Publicize information of consultation meeting through handing out admission
tickets in international departments and advisory institutes of universities
and colleges.
B．Post big posters in universities, colleges, vocational and middle schools
【PROCEDURE】
1. Exhibitor shall fill in Exposition Contract and affix official seal
and then mail or fax them to Organizing Committee. And Exposition Sponsor
will mail a written confirmation to Exhibitor.
2. Exhibitor shall remit relevant exposition charge to appointed account
within seven days upon registration.
3. All exhibitors shall follow such principle that “first registered and
paid shall have priority”, Organization Committee has right to cancel
or displace unpaid booths till all booths are engaged.
4. The Sponsor will mail Exhibitor Manual consisting of detailed schedule,
transport, platform design and setting, travel and accommodation, material
renting and waiter service, advertisement, visa application, weather forecast
and any other service information to exhibitor upon exhibition booth confirmation,
universities and colleges requesting pick up service shall contact organization
committee five days ahead, all related costs shall be borne by exhibitors
themselves.
5. Exhibitor shall detail all information like height setting and special
requirements in Exposition Contract.
6. Organization Committee will prepare English and Chinese lintel board
subject to contracts of registered universities and colleges.

8、Exhibitors like schools, institutions of training and study abroad consultation
may hold special introduction conference on student recruitment during
exposition (All exhibitors are welcome for participation. Charges: RMB
3,000/60 minutes, covering meeting room service, projection, stereo, desk/chair,
illumination and advertising information. Detailed schedule shall be negotiated
with and determined by Organization Committee) ，information on presentation
planned in advance will be published together with advertisements issued
by Organization Committee.
